Ah, I used to want to take underwater pictures like these last year and actually, I still do. But yeah, underwater casings for cameras would cost a lot. So, yeah. Maybe when I have a job (:

fooling around

Thats what its like to wake up every morning during these holidays. In my head I go: Khadijah! Get off your ass, wake up. Five minutes passes by and I'm still in bed under my covers, fooling around with myself. Sometimes it takes dad at least five times to wake me up by screaming my name from across the room. But I don't think he screamed at me this morning. Well...did you dad? I don't remember. Haha.

Anyway, I've been trying to reduce my rice intake, which I used to take moundfuls of them, and now I only eat about a scoopful and a half. And thats only for lunch. Wow. Impressive. And I jogged this morning but I only did 12 minutes on the treadmil because I had cramps. Anyway, my thighs seem to have reduced a bit. Better than nothing innit.

So, yeah. OH! The other day dad cooked cheese-stuffed tortellini with his tomato sauce which is spicy, yet not too spicy, specialty for dinner. I ate five servings in all. I guess I was very hungry since I hadn't eaten rice in nearly three days. Dad was like, I can cook but I'd rather not. Haha. Yeah, and dad's real good at flower arrangements and interrior designing. He also used to play the organ. Ha, yeah. Our family seems to be rather multi-talented.

bottoms up people

Ha, so. (Either) mum or dad bought Make It Happen for me last night and I thought of watching it last night, but because I wanted to save the fun for later, I watched it this morning instead. Gosh, I love it! I mean, wow. I think this movie has made it into my favourite movies list. The dance routines in the movie are just awesome. I watched all of them over and over again today and my most favourite scene/dance routine, is this one.

Speaking of which, I got envious enough to have the urge to start working out this evening, which I was supposed to do this morning. So to supply myself with a boost of motivation, I'm downolading a few tracks off the movie soundtrack and I shall start again tomorrow and try not to stall. Wish me luck!

no idea

Somehow I suddenly wanted to watch Elizabethtown. Hmmm. Well I guess its because that I didn't quite understand it when I watched it for the first time. Hah, I think I want to ask mum to get me the dvd or cd etc when she's free. But yeah, there's no guarantee that she's going to get it because she's been busy lately. Heh.

I also have a list of other movies which I want to watch. Dad! Take me out to the dvd store!

  1. Across The Universe
  2. Disturbia
  3. Juno
  4. Step Up 1 + 2
  5. Make It Happen
  6. The Holiday

Hmmm, but I wonder if I'll ever get the dvds. I only have Make It Happen, and I'm going to watch it tomorrow seeing as there's nothing better to do. And my cousin, Danial, invited me over for a sleepover. I mean, what the? Haha. But yeah, his sister also did ask when I was coming over, so yeah. Dad, how bout it aye?

Oh, and dad. Our GG dvd box set is with him. Heeee.

November 25, 2008

fatigue fatigue

So, Esah and Syaza came over in the evening today for a photo shoot and piano jam session combo thing. Haha. Boy, I had fun using Esah's D60. It also reminds me of Minolta which I plan to get fixed this Sunday, I don't care. But yeah, D60 feels quite good: not so heavy, not so light; just nice. Even so, it would be even nicer if it had focal lens. Haaaaaaa. I miss shooting with my Minolta.

Anyways. Since I was in the mood for black and whites, we did black and white photos and boy were they pretty. I was thinking of joining the KL Photo Awards 2009 and sending the photos of our photo shoot in. But bummer, the contest is only opened to those above the age of 16. Heh. Syaza said: Takpe Kat. Next year...punya next year ada lagi. Heee. Yeah, and you bet I'm joining!

Speaking of which, I have a couple of names in my mind who should try out for the 2009 photo awards. Want to know who? *aksi angkat kening*
Drumroll pleaseeeeeeeeeeee.

  1. Mei
  2. Azzief
  3. Ijan

If you guys make it as finalists, I will go and see your photos during the exhibit at The Annexe, Central Market in May 2009. Oh yeah, the 40 lucky finalists will be exhibited at The Annexe and the winner will also be announced there. Heeee. I want to go!

how unusual

Okay, how wierd when I woke up from a dream in which I dreamt of a guy who looked like Aaron but wears spectacles, and is an SPM candidate. I woke up going "What the hay?" in my head a million times and honestly thought that it was real. But when I realised I was still under the covers, it was a dream.

So, nontheless. How wierd. And the guy in the dream was hitting on me. Yes, he was. I don't exactly know what, but yeah. He was. Haha. I don't know if that dream's a good sign or not, but yeah. Dreams like this don't just happen.

Ho, and Nada Surf's quite good!

November 24, 2008

accomplishment!

After much motivation from magazines and also watching ANTM cycle 11, I finally got on the treadmil this morning and did my regular 30 minute jog followed by a circuit workout right after that. Truthfully, I felt good today and I felt super fresh. Like I've just had a dose of caffeine, or something. Lol. But yeah, starting from today onwards I will try to not skip any of my workout sessions.

Oh! Speaking of ANTM cycle 11, McKey won! It wasn't that much of a surprise anyway because you can say that since the start of cycle 11, she doesn't have that much of faults in her. But yeah, from my point of view, I don't think McKey's that pretty but her editorial shots on ANTM are as superb as Sam's and Analeigh's.

November 23, 2008

heh

Sorry for the self-doubting post just now. I'm still in doubt though, and a bit frustrated. PMSing I guess. Ho. And here's an update I can't not post:

I am a sore loser in Monopoly.
*grin grin*

sleepovahhh

I am at a sort-of sleepover at my cousin's house and this house is fully equipped with wireless, and four laptops to ease up your boredom and there's Astro as well. Not exactly facilities which you can find at the Haq residence. Amboi. Haha. But yeah, we haven't got Astro and four laptops.

So, here I am in the bedroom of my cousin typing away after a frustrating one hour (or so) doing a 1000 piece puzzle of Tigger, Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Owl. I've just finished a part of Owl and boy, is it driving me crazy. Nadia, my cousin, is looking for pieces of Tigger and Anis, well...she's listening to Super Junior. Haaa, so here I am listening to Super Junior while thinking of something interesting to write.

I think, I've lost my interesting-ness right now because I'm frustrated of...something which I have been cajoling my parents to get but someone else has gotten it earlier than I have. And I'm starting to doubt my photography skills right now. Heh. I think...yeah. My photography is bad. Okay, what the hay. I'm doubting myself. I should stop.

November 20, 2008

charcoal love!

I think I have completely fallen in love with charcoal. Haha. Yes, I think I have. Oh la la, AMOUR! Lol. Anyway, here's a few of my latest drawings. Some of them are smudged because I tried putting them up on my sticky board thing but it just won't go up. At least my finger prints aren't that noticeable, thank God.
Heee. Enjoy people.Latest one. I drew it this morning around 10, and yeah. Actually when I drew this, I was scared that I might ruin it because my first time trying to colour in the background was...disastrous. But yeah, it turned out alright.
This has a pirate-y theme going on. The blouse for example is like Keira's in Pirates of The Carribean. But its still....fashion-y, in a way. And this drawing was the first one I attempted with charcoal. Eh, no. It was my second attempt. Dad was like, "Oh, that's nice Khadijah!"

And this, I don't exactly know what this is. Just some random drawing I drew while watching Gossip Girl with dad. Well, at least I think it was. Haha. Okay, yeah. It was. Somehow, I like drawing fly away hair with the neck extension thing. Haaaa, too much of ANTM. Lol.

And Marjorie's frigging out! ZOMG. But yeah, she was a bit out of place in episode 12. Drinking too much and she's got an ultimate personality change = ZOMBIE.

November 19, 2008

inspiration from an unlikely place

I've never expected myself being inspired after listening to Pussycat Dolls' song. And not just any song, its I Hate This Part. I heard it on Fly FM earlier this evening and I fell in love with it. I mean, who would've thought that I'd fall in love with a PCD song. Heh, wierd. I know. But yeah, the piano in the background is just uber cool. I think, I want to learn how to play it! Ngeh ngeh.

Anyway, I've got a rough image of what I'll be drawing after watching the video and I am going to do my best in drawing it. I don't want to destroy it because I know it will be a special piece (ahem). Haha, but yeah. I'll be drawing it using charcoal. And I'll be drawing something like this:

So, yeah. There you go. Hahaha. And somehow, PCD sounds way nicer when they sing this kind of song. Perhaps the next album they release will be full of this kind of songs. Haaa. I'll buy it! *grin* And I love Kimberly's hair. Haha.

now thats a first

Haaaa, look. I've been awarded by Bqah. Haha. Thank you babe! I mean, whoa. This was unexpected. But yeah, there you go. My first blog award. Haha. And the picture above is so cute!

And you know Bqah, I'd re-give you this award because I enjoy reading your blog too, but you've got this award already so...yeah. Haha. Psst, I love to steal surveys from your blog. Haha.

So, after much consideration-actually, not that much at all-I've got the four blogs which I find so so BEST and I can never not read on a regular basis.

Okay, I actually thought of putting down Syafiq Ramlan but yeah, I don't know him and he doesn't know me so I'd better not. I think I'll sound like a stalker if I do. Ho -___-"

But anyway, go on. Tag four people who you think deserve to receive this award.

November 18, 2008

those days

I used to get so annoyed of listening to this song but right after they won the 2008 AJLs, honestly, I can't get this song out of my head. Everytime I don't know what song to listen to, this is the song I'll turn to. I guess its the lyrics. Haaa.

Well, I am soppy kan.

November 17, 2008

and we have a decision

Okay, because mum thinks that if she buys the LG for me it might break easier. So, she suggested the Sony Erricson because of the-here I quote-"nice pictures and nice sound". So yeah. I told her I wanted this one, the Sony K810i. And I've been eyeing this phone since last year but everytime I ask for it, my parents will go, "Oh, your phone is good enough".

Ha, but yeah. I'd love a camera phone for a change. And look at that keypad. Mhmmm, yummy. Haha. Okay, speaking of keypads, I haven't played on Horugel for three days already. Haha. And I need to arrange a jamming session with E. She's so so excited. Haha. Maybe around this week aite?

random fact number 4

I've never introduced myself propperly before

Haha, I realised that when I was in the car just now listening to Sixpence None The Richer's Breathe Your Name. Anyway, I've never really introduced myself. Even if I have, it would have just been my name, age, hobbies and whatever else I think is appropriate for the person I am introducing myself to.

Anyway. My full name is Siti Khadijah bt Anwarul Haq but for the past two years in high school I've been known as Kat and to Rozreen +her family, I've been known to them as Siti. I was born at General Hospital, Kuala Lumpur around 7 pm-or so. I am a mixture of Javanese, Bugis, Chinese, Arab and Siamese blood but I look more Siamese. I am a bookworm and I can speak four languages: English, Malay, French and a bit of Arab. Well, I hardly speak Arab but I can roughly understand.

I can play the piano and a bit of flute. I stopped two years ago and I intend on continuing it. I can sketch/draw and according to my form 2 English teacher, I have a knack for writing. Hmm. What else. Oh, well. I don't open up that much. Not even with dad. Heh. So, yeah. Thats me.

alas, home

Yes, after three days of staying at my aunt's during mum+dad's "honeymoon" I am finally back. Well, dad went on Saturday and, as usual, Ibraheem and Umar went for their English class at Lorna's and I went for French at Alliance. And on Sunday I went to Pavilion for the Mac Discovery thing with Dd+Danial and Aiman, my cousins, and Yusof; chaperoned by Auntie Oni.

I must say, Yuna's voice has gotten nicer since she released her EP. Lol. Oh, and Esah + Hazirah missed Yuna's performance. So, after that we went to KLCC and walked around a bit. Then E and H went back so I tagged along Dd, Danial, Aiman and Yusof. In the end we went back around....9.30 pm or so by lrt.

At home, we watched The Nanny Diaries and right after that I fell asleep until about.....12.30 am or so and continued sleep until 7.40 am. Ho. Nothing much, I know. That is why my life is boring and yours isn't.

Oh, and I got 5As, 2Bs and 1C for Finals. Big bummer. And the C is-unsurprisingly-Sejarah. And my English dropped, but my BM, man, it went from 70 something to 82. Haaaa, I truly am proud.

November 15, 2008

eeek boredom!

Ah, today....nothing much happened. I was tempted to hail a cab and go to the National Library to read a book, or two, but yeah. I haven't got the guts. AND, my stomach is acting up on me. I guess its because I didn't exactly eat breakfast...and, lunch. Oh, and mum and dad are going away for their 15th year marriage anniversary "honeymoon". As Syed says: romantik ah your parents. Haha, true Syed. So so true.

Oh, and thanks to Zara I am currently coveting this phone: the LG Q KS360. I find the black one quite appealing. The blue one...well, its okay. And when I asked dad just now if I could get this phone, he said he'll just be getting me a basic phone instead. Well, for once can't I have a phone like this? Just once. And I'll never ask again. I promise. If I do, then...well. Hah, do anything you want to me.

And speaking of Zara. Where the are you? I want to ask you out to Pavilion this Sunday. Yuna's performing weh! I'd text, but....well, you know what happened to my phone. And if you're reading this, I'm sorry I haven't gone online for the past...three days. I've been tired, and well, mum has been coming home late from work.

Oh. OH. And I tried doing a v-log, yet again. Haha, and I guess I'm getting used to sitting in front of the camera which looks like a cyborg eye staring directly at you. Even though its weird, its interesting actually. I mean, I talk a lot when I record myself so yeah. Haha. I time myself by listening to a song on my mp3 just to stop myself from doing a 10 minute video -__-"

But yeah, anwyay. DAD. If you're reading this. I want that LG. And an acoustic guitar. Haha. Well, I've got the guitar pick Kamal gave me. What's the use of having one if I don't have a guitart to accompany it with. And well, I don't really care if I don't get a dslr or laptop in the nearest time. Not that important anyway. Heh.

November 12, 2008

random fact number 3

I love wearing striped tops eventhough it looks boring

Ha, yes. I love wearing striped tops. And for the record, I currently have four of them. When I go out, I try to keep a look out for striped tops. Well, they aren't so impossible to find at Zara but the price. Haaa. Jaw dropping. But during the sales, Zara's stuff are cheaper than other branded stuff going on sale. Thats why, ALWAYS shop for Zara during their sale.

Huu, that reminds me. I haven't worn my Zara sweater in a while. And it has a frog on it, AND its Zara. So, like frog + Zara = froggy Zara. Wow, makcik. Coincidentally, I'll always have something to remind you by (besides Charlie, of course) : my froggy Zara sweater. And that sweater was bought a few weeks (?) before I got to know her. Fuh, talk about super coincidence

Haaa, and Gravity is a leetle bit hard to play. No matter. I'll get it done yeah. Haha. And, I think I'm going to post my first attempt at the v-log later. It takes such a long time to load *sigh*

i sound french, no?

Foot still isn't okay and now I am very convinced that it is indeed a sprain. Wow. One after the other huh. How terrific is that. But yeah, watched a few old videos of Johnny and there's this one which is particularly cute.

And he speaks in this really not-so perfect French accent, but still is cute.

He wears a fake beard + mustache in this. Can't stand it though. Haaa.

November 11, 2008

two freaking days

I can't believe I haven't blogged for two days. Two freaking days is a long time for me to go without blogging, I can assure you. So, nothing has come up during this two days. Oh, dad bought us a new dvd player! Ha haaa. And this afternoon after watching Star Wars: The Clone Wars, I started watching season 1 of Gossip Girl from episode 13 until episode 18. I got bored of the first few episodes.

And...I think I sprained my left foot when I was walking down the stairs super-fast. So, yeah. I can't walk propperly, limping more like it. I tried RICE, and its not exactly working right now. Oh, and I attempted doing my first v-log and I did two takes and POOF, dad came home with dvd player and I immediately ditched the camera and reverted to watching Gossip Girl.

Anyway, I think I'm going to go watch Johnny or Charlie because I haven't got any inspiration in the mean time. Depends. Haha.

November 9, 2008

random talking

Today was the same as every other day: logged on to Facebook, Twitter and MySpace, watched Johnny and Jeff Dunham, MSN with Zara, sessions with Horugel, did a couple of screenshots and made Plurk! Hahaaa. How boring. Besides that, I was thinking of making a v-log. But...*shrugs*.

And I've just made Shamimi my petsis a few minutes ago! Haha. So, hello little sister. Heee. I was so nervous when I wanted to ask her eventhough its just online. My heart was fluttering like, a lot and my stomach was filled with butterflies.

Wuuuu, and Zara's gone offline; swimming I heard. Bummer. Hmm. At least we can gossip later on. Mmm. I think I'm going to rewatch SPORKS!. Johnny is so cute in it, especially when he was having the sporks and walnut cake fight. Heeee.

"Look, the spork's fighting the cake. Boooom booom"

Awww. How adorable! Okay. I've got to stop all this. I'm getting so childish nowadays, kan?

random fact number 2

I prefer playing piano with long nails

Wierd, I know. But yeah, I prefer playing it with long nails eventhough the nails don't exactly play an important role in pressing the keys. But this month, because mum has told me off three times about my nails, I cut them off earlier this week.

Only my left though. She saw my right and she told me off for the fourth time. Well, I think I'll trim my right later in the morning. Oh, what the hay. Its 6 minutes away from 3 am. Haha. Good night/morning.

talk of the night

Online crushes. Thats what Zara and I have been doing on MSN right after she introduced me to Charlie McDonnell and I found Johnny Durham.

This is Zara's Charlie
And ultimately, my Johnny *grin*

He's a vegetarian. Heeeee. And both of them are Brits! Thats what makes them so cute, and not to mention hot.

November 8, 2008

q'une gateau

Wouldn't it be nice if life were as delicious as the BBQ chicken sandwich from Wondermilk accompanied by a hot, venti-sized caramel macchiato. Mmmm. Unfortunately, life isn't. So, what the hay. I'm happy with where I am.

Oh, Yuna fans. You can get her EP from Wondermilk by the way. Hahaaa, I would've bought it if I known but Alia has bought it for me earlier on during the launch. Heee.

addicts

Besides me, dad is also a Gossip Girl addict. Yes, he is; right after he watched Pilot of season 1 which I uploaded into his iPod because of pure boredom. Right after that, he's been asking a lot about Gossip Girl. And one day, he said "I've already ordered season 1" and he said it with a grin. Naturally, I was like "OMG OMG OMG!". Haha.

Just now we watched a bit of the second episode on mum's laptop because our DVD is hancusss. So, looks like I have something to look forward to this holidays: Gossip Girl marathon! I'm hoping dad wil order me Grey's Anatomy season 1 and 2. Hahaaa. Marathon marathon marathon.

Well, who said dad's aren't cool? And, my dad just bought aviator-like Ray Ban sunglasses and he thinks he's Malaysia's own Daniel Craig. Pfhhhh -__-
Well, that's Anwarul Haq for you.

Oh, and a surprise for Esah. Heeeee. I did it yesterday. Nak tengok? Silakan.

November 7, 2008

you toad

I attempted to do a cover version of Yuna's Blue Sands earlier this afternoon and I seriously sound like a toad. Here, listen.

I knoooow. My voice is terrible. But even so, I can't help to not post this video up. I think the next time I'm making a cover version, I'm calling Esah to sing for me. Her voice is waaay nicer than mine.

November 6, 2008

awkward hmm

I've remade MySpace after much persuasion from Zara and Raffil. Yes, I really have and it feels so wierd that I want to cry. Mhmmm. But yeah, go on. Add me up @myspace.com/dijooot. Even so, I don't think I'll be using it a lot. I prefer Facebook than MySpace. Haha. Thats what happens when you've used too much of Facebook.

To be honest, I deleted MySpace because I wanted to run away from everyone I knew, from everything I've said...basically everything. Now that I've recreated MySpace, I feel like I want to run away even more than I wanted to. Whats wrong with me now :

i can't help it

To be honest, I don't really like Jonas Brothers because one thing, they're too pretty for guys. But somehow I like Lovebug. Scratch that; I love Lovebug. Wierd, I know. But the song is just too sweet to be true. I can't stand not downloading it and putting it into my mp3. Eeeeeeeee.

I think this song might be on repeat for quite a while now *grin*

I can't get your smile out of my mind

November 5, 2008

dear oh dear

Holidays are near. It seems like it was only yesterday that we started form 2, and now look at where we are. Nearly form 3, PMR. Hmmm. I'm getting older and I still sulk and whine like a four year old.

Oh. I have a to-do list as well.

  1. Twilight with Zara. Dad as chaperon.
  2. RANtAi with Didi. If not, with Aliyah. Again, dad as chaperon.
  3. Scouts Jamboree 2008 at Batu Pahat.
  4. Get Minolta checked up at CM before going to Langkawi.
  5. Form 1 + 2 revision. Possibly at National Library.
  6. Blue Sands jamming session with Esah at our house (?)
  7. Piano + guitar lessons

Yeah, I know how to play Blue Sands now. Thank you yet again Alia. I don't know why, I just can't stop thanking you. Heeee.

buh-oring

I can say this week has been quite a long and pretty tiring one. My finger is nearly back to normal-albeit it being a bit blue and swollen-after trying out RICE and has been bandaged for the past three days with some traditional massaging oil said to improve blood circulation, yada yada. And playing piano certainly has helped my finger to recover. I guess its a sort-of physiotherapy thing.

Tuesday was the end of the year jamuan. We had 4 boxes of pizza and a barrel of KFC, two cylinders of Pringles, 8-or so-bottle of gassed drinks, a box of banana cakes and some snacks. Around the time the jamuan started, I was conveniently called by Cikgu Rashidi to take pictures around the school and he gave me 10 minutes. He even timed me. Anyway, by the time I got back to class all that was left was Pringles and some other snacks.

Because I was frustrated I didn't get any pizza, I downed a big bottle of 100 plus on my own and ate 3/4 of the sour cream & onion Pringles. In the end, I ended up with an upset stomach. Then, there was cake. Chocolate cake I tell you! With loads of whipped cream. How could I resist. And we had a food fight with the whipped cream. Everybody was chasing everybody in the class. It was literally like a mad house. Even Teacher Syaz got some whipped cream on her face *grin*

Today, hmmmm. Nothing much happened. Oh yes, there was a spot-check. Hello, we didn't have that last year. Why so sudden? After the spot-check, we had our break. Huda and I headed to the astaka. Raffil was there with his gang as well and Raffil brought his guitar along. A genuine Yamaha CS-40! Darn, I was....whoaaaa. I got the chance to strum on it. Well, strum is not exactly how I'd put it. But yeah. Haha.

So, I spent nearly the whole day at the astaka doing nothing but laughing about to some jokes, fighting over Malik for the guitar, singing Yuna's songs with Esah and enjoying the view of the school field. I can say it was a good day eventhough it did rain earlier in the afternoon but after that it was sunny throughout the day.

Hmm, I think I should stop. I'll post the pictures of the jamuan later. Mhmmm.

November 1, 2008

no longer

To be honest, I would've edited them a little bit better than this. But somehow Picnik's a bit bonkers tonight. So, will have to make do.

First page of the sketch book: favourites from the Autumn/Winter 2008 collection.
A Burberry ad. Forgot what year it was from. Either 2006 or 2007.Drew this in Baling out of boredom. Lena Heady, if I'm not mistaken.

So..now I've recently acquired W's November magazine which features pictures of Angelina Jolie taken by Brad Pitt! Hahaaaa. Nonetheless, that will be my current project. I think I shall try drawing with charcoal this time if I can go to the art shop down in Melawati *grin*

merci merci merci

Yet again, I have acquired another injury from netball. Last year it was my left hand, in between my forefinger and thumb; this year I injured my right hand for a change, the pinkie. Darn it. I did do stretches before I played the game. Dad thought my pinkie is either broke or fractured. Hah, the same assumption he made when I injured my left hand last year.

Anyway, we were at a kenduri about half an hour ago and my aunt, Ma Ayush, who's a doctor was there. She checked my finger and said it was just a sprain. THANK GOD! Even so, my aunt, Mama I, tried scaring me by sharing her injury experiences when she used to play netball back in the day.
MI : Dulu Ma I pun pernah kena macam tu. Siap masuk besi satu! (this is a LIE)
KD : Eee. Tak naaaak. Jangan cerita dah Maaaaaa!
MI : Haaaaa! Kalau tak boleh keluar, dia tarik jeeee.
KD : Waaaaaaaaa, Ma I! Jangan la! Tak nak tak nak!
Damn, I'm so childish.

Lucky my finger was injured during the last game of the whole tournament-and I was playing GS, a position which I sucked at. Huda said I was better of as GD. Either way, thank you Hazirah for asking me to switch to GS and for praising me that I made a good GS. Heeee. But I only scored three goals, mind you. Two of them, I accidentally missed. Luckily Hazirah was there to recapture the ball and shot it.

In the end, we won yet again. Two years in a row. I don't mean to brag, but I think we make a good team. Lets do it again! *grins*
